Open Question: urgent ms excel 2007 question?

ok, this is really doing my head in, hence me asking whether you guys would know HOW to go about this: im creating a table in excel, it presents employee's sales performance throughout a year.im planning to put it all in pivot table eventually BUT first the big question - how to go about the fact that a product is split into 2 product categories (eg. a car: bmw). employee sells 6 cars; they re all bmw, but DIFFERENT types of bmw. how do i contain all the different bmw types in the same table for that day? sorry, this is so confusing, but do ask me questions. i really have to come up with some kinda solution and im stuck with this particular thing. thanks guys. ps. what if the 'model' category HAS to be divided into 3 - 4 subcategories? so: a red bmw with leather seats and convertible? the table s got to contain all that subcategorical data :( thank you.... read more
